|Aria Santiago is inactive and can no longer roleplay.|
|Birthday:||25 June, 1999|
|Address:||21 Russo Street, Barfield|
|Housemates:||Jamie Santiago, Simon Hills, Monica Hills|
Aria has somewhat tan skin and brown hair. She loves to wear makeup and is interested in fashion, so she always dresses well. Hair products, clothes, and makeup are usually what she indulges in, so she has a lot. She likes cropped clothing and pastel colors. She also loves bows and polka dots. She is slim and muscular, although she doesn't have many curves due to only recently starting on estrogen.
Aria is socially awkward which results in her not having many friends. She can also be somewhat cynical and sarcastic at times. She is quite a bit of a coward but is very disciplined and patient. She is somewhat gullible and easily embarassed, which makes her a good tool for more malicious people. She is very creative and deep, putting a lot of thought into things. However this causes her to overthink everything, resuting in poor social choices and being sad. She has tendancies to be over-dramatic and odd. She has a low tolerance for shallow people and/or bigots.
On June 25, 1999 she was born by the name of Aidan. Her parents were Kendra and Tanner Santiago, and she had an older brother named Jamie. They were an upper-middle class family living in Miduna Beach. They loved dogs and had four of them. When Aria was a young child she devloped an interest in cars and could name almost any of them. At age 2, her father suffered a heart attack from unknown causes and died. Aria was too young to really know what had happened and has almost no memories of him.
By the age of 3, Aria was wearing dresses and high heels and calling herself "Lauren", but her mom thought it was just a phase. She did support her, however and let her do what she wanted. She devloped an interest in drawing at an early age and was very good at it. She also became a dancer, but her talent was only mediocre in that area.
When she started fifth grade at a new school she didn't have many friends and found that she couldn't make many. That was very saddening for her and she often had to eat lunch in the bathroom because no one wanted to sit by her. She went on the internet and made friends there. This was when she realized she was transgender but she knew she wouldn't be able to come out because everyone would think she was too young to know.
She went through a brief stage of self-hate from dysphoria during middle school. She thought she was ugly and that no one would want to be her friend because she was worthless and fat. Luckily she used this as motivation to work out and be healthier. This made her feel good and she also got back into drawing, which she was very good at. She realized at this time that what was on the inside was important, not how she looked.
By ninth grade she had recovered and came out to her mother, who struggled with accepting her but eventually did. She thought Aria was just confused but a few months after Aria began seeing a gender therapist where she was diagnosed with gender identity disorder, and her mother realized it wasn't a phase.She sent Aria to online school to avoid being ridiculed by her peers. Aria was always very smart so she was happy she was able to pick her cirriculum so she wouldn't have to learn things she already knew.
A year later when she was 15 her mother died in a house fire. Aria and her brother were both at school, while her mom was at home working. She completely forgot she had put something in the oven and didn't take it out. There was a minor fire but she put it out. Later in the night, it turned out she still hadn't put out the fire. The entire house was set on fire. Aria and her brother Jamie were able to escape because they slept on the first floor. Her mother was on the second floor and wasn't abel to get out. Her older brother was 17 at the time and worked at WalMart. He moved in to an apartment with his best friend who was 18 as well as his little sister who was Aria's best friend. His friend worked as an intern at an art museum but Aria and her friend were unemployed. They also took Chloe, the only dog who survived the fire. Aria and Jamie were very sad as they miss their parents but they enjoy their new life and find that in general it is more fun than their old ways. Aria is continuing at online school so she can paint at home and sell her art to make money, as the family has fallen into poverty. Aria wants to go to university but doesn't know if she can afford it. She wants to double in literature and fashion merchandising.
Her brother Jamie and her deceased parents Kendra and Tanner.
Her best friend Monica, her brother Jamie, and Jamie's friend Simon.
