Bruce is a decent looking guy, he doesn't really stand out amongst others but he is not bad looking per say. He has normal brown eyes and hair. He is fairly tall being about 6 feet. Bruce has maintain the same haircut for a few years now, which makes him seem younger than he really is. He usually wears jeans, with polo shirts or long sleeved shirts. He likes wearing blue and red and dresses as casually as he can. Though Bruce greatly appreciates the attractiveness of people, he finds what's inside to be much more appealing. Same goes with him, though he doesn't complete ignore his looks, he doesn't give them much importance either.
Bruce is a happy light spirit who brings energy and joy to the people around him. He is an extremely social person and loves to talk to everyone. He loves being around people and hearing them talk, he just does, the feeling of being with others thrills him for some reason. He is sweet, and likes to gives out advice as much as he can. Most of the time people describe him as being innocent, since he doesn't defend himself or stays quiet when people offend them and also because he seems unaware of all the bad things happening around him, in reality he is very well aware of what others think of him. He simply doesn't see the point of arguing about anything.
Bruce was born in New York City to a couple of performers who were looking to settle down. After he was born, his parents still continued to do small roles in theater but they spent as much time possible with their little boy. Growing up was different for Bruce, since he didn't have a normal childhood per say, for example he didn't grow up going to playgrounds but instead grew up behind the curtains of Broadway. He remembers hanging back stage while his mom or dad were extras in some hit Broadway show. Bruce liked seeing his parents happy and he also took some interest in theater but he wanted a normal live, like the ones his friends had. Bruce stayed quiet however, not wanting to upset his parents. Soon enough after failing to get their big break, his mother became a stay at home mom, allowing her to spend more time with him. His father took a job to help them financially and soon, that crazy performing life was over.
Despite all the crazy he went through, he still had a major love for music, one he made sure to pursue later on. He also found his sexuality when he realized he was only attracted to males. another thing he noticed however is that he wasn't attracted to individuals. He felt attraction towards couples, he saw these beautiful people in a relationship and wished for him to be part of it. Though he tried to explain this to his friends, many of them thought it was some kind of weird sexual fantasy and shrugged it off. Bruce however knew, what he wanted. During High School he also noticed that many people didn't like him. they saw him as someone gullible that they could mess with. Bruce didn't care, it honestly didn't bothered him and he continued to be nice to everyone he encountered.
Bruce soon got accepted into NYU, there he met Zach and James, a couple of seniors who he encountered in the school library. He quickly developed an odd friendship with them. a friendship that soon became romantic. Though James and Zach struggled to welcome someone new into their relationship. they decided they liked Bruce and wanted him to be a part of them. Not one of them had been in a polygamous relationship before so they obviously struggled as bit, but they loved being a part of one. They were very happy, Bruce soon became incredibly dependent on both of them, he was in love.
One afternoon Bruce had gone to get some groceries, when he arrived at their apartment which they shortly got after getting together (they have been in the relationship for 2 years now) he found his worst fear had become true. He found his two lovers dead on the bathroom floor. He soon found out they had committed suicide. Bruce became majorly depressed afterwords, always blaming himself for what happened, not understating why they left him. Not being able to take it anymore, he decided to move out of New York.
Months later he found this place called Barfield, far away from NYC. With his savings, he got himself an apartment and was able to open a music studio in the area which he named Z&J Sounds in memory of his deceased lovers. Though it's been a hard time to get on with his life. Bruce tries everyday to be happy and move on.
Stephen and Miriam Mitchell- Bruce has always had a shaky relationship with his parents since they were both so busy and focused on performing they often forgot about him. They all always cared for each other however. since they were a small family. Bruce never resented them for anything since he truly enjoyed growing up close to music. After leaving for University, Bruce hasn't had many contact with either of them. They never found out about his relationship or even about his sexuality. Bruce however knows they will probably accept him since theater people are usually so liberal. Since then, their parents have returned to the Broadway world as crew members. Bruce knows they are truly happy in New York and doesn't want to bother them.
