Dakota usually wears what he finds comfortable. He doesn't like to put too much effort into whatever he wears.
Dakota can be very shy at times. He doesn't really talk to people who aren't his friends, and if he does, he doesn't like to talk much, and is usually very rude. He's a bit nicer around his friends, but he does lash out at them from time to time.
Even though he has a good amount of friends, he feels very lonely a lot of the time. He's afraid of talking to people, because he feels if he does, he'll just get made fun of, and he doesn't like being criticized. If someone even jokes about him, he gets extremely mad, and he'll either start insulting whoever made fun of him, or not talk to anybody else for the rest of the day. He wishes that he could be more open with people, but he feels like he can't be.
Dakota was born in Miduna Beach to Gregory and Elizabeth Hardy on May 19th, 1998. He was the couple's only child.
Dakota's childhood was pretty standard. His mother stayed at home and took care of him, sometimes his parents would take him to parks and he would play, and every Sunday they would go to church. His father always worked, so his family never really went out or go on vacation, but Dakota never really cared, because he loved his family.
When it was time for him to start going to elementary school, he was very excited. He made a lot of friends, and he was very smart. His teachers often complimented his work, and said that he was going to be very successful in the future. He loved going to school, and he couldn't wait for middle school.
When he was 8, his parents told him that they were going to get a divorce. Dakota didn't really know how to feel about it. His mother got custody of him, and later told him that he was never gonna see his father again, and that bothered him a lot. He used to blame his mother all the time for the divorce, but he regrets ever saying such things to her.
His mom met a new guy a year after their divorce. His mother met him in church, and he was a conservative religious man. Dakota never liked him, but he knew that he had to get used to him because he saw that his mom really loved him. A year after they got together, they had a baby boy named Maxel.
Dakota was excited to go into Middle School at first, but then a little later into his 6th grade year he started slacking in his academics. He made a lot of friends and he started to care more about his social life than his actual schoolwork. He also started to be a lot more rude to people, especially his mom and step-dad. He continued to act like this throughtout middle school, and his parents had trouble disciplining him, because they never wanted to yell infront, or be a negative influence on their baby.
In the summer before Dakota's freshman year, he realized that he was gay. He's never told anybody because his friends often made fun of people who were, and his family were very conservative and he never thought that they would accept him. Because of this, Dakota became very insecure, and he was worried about people knowing the truth.
When Dakota first started High School, the only thing he wanted to do was get out. He hated every second of it. He always felt like people were judging him, and the only people he could ever talk to were his friends he made in middle school. Most of his newer friends are just mutual friends of his middle school friends. Currently, he's a senior at Miduna Beach High School, and he isn't planning to go to college.
