First of all, Dustin has brown eyes and brown hair. He's fairly tall and has a normal skin tone. His wardrobe consists of various jeans and v-neck t-shirts which are mostly maroon and dark blue, as they were some of his favorite colors. His style varies depending on how he feels for that day and usually puts in a lot of effort, even if he's just walking out to get a cup of coffee.
Dustin has always been and extroverted and sociable young man. He enjoys company and loves to make small talk with strangers. You could say he’s a bit easygoing and collected when you first get to meet him and even if it’s true, he can be quite outgoing and loud when he’s with his friends and family. He’s pretty confident but not to confident to the point where he’s full of himself and that his pride has taken over his life. His level of confidence in just average and he uses that to be able to talk to people. However, he can get quite agitated easily and he seems to get anxious when he doesn’t know what to do. He can give up pretty easily unless given words of encouragement and is pretty stubborn when told to do something he doesn’t want to do. He’s pretty clever, however and has an amazing sense of humor and never fails to put a smile on people’s faces.
Dustin Peters was born on January 3, 1986, to a middle class couple in Atlanta, Georgia, minutes after his twin brother, Austin. Ever since he was a young boy, he always took an interest in sports. He tried out many of them, baseball, football, track and field- you name it, he probably played it.
In school, he joined a majority of the sports teams to the point where his schedule was nearly full everyday. He came home late from school because of practice and lacked sleep, which then made his parents concerned. This led to nearly an hour-long lecture from his parents about how he should focus on just one thing at a time instead of everything at once. He followed this and by the time he was in middle school, he chose basketball.
Basketball has always been his favorite sport. It was the first sport he played when he was young. He joined the basketball team in seventh grade and became better and better at it everyday because of his parents’ piece of advice.
By the time he was in his senior year, he was the captain of his team and was the best basketball player in his school. His popularity skyrocketed the past few years and was very much well-known in his school and was considered one of the most popular guys in school. Girls wanted him, boys wanted to be him.
After graduating high school, he decided he wanted to attend college. He applied to almost every college near his area but none of them wanted to accept him. Just as he was about to give up, his brother suggested he go to Lebeaux University with him. He agreed, and was fortunately accepted into the school. Dustin saved up some money and they left Atlanta and moved to an apartment in Lebeaux. It was small, but it was enough for the twins.
University life was great and there, Dustin made a lot of friends and was popular. He also had his first girlfriend, Emma, but their relationship didn’t last long, because she broke up with him after two months as she wasn’t actually ready for a serious relationship. Dustin understood and wasn’t completely affected by this and moved on pretty easily. He hasn’t dated since, however.
After university, he decided to pursue his dreams of being a professional athlete. He’s joined a few competitions here and there, but even after years of effort, he never got his big break, and by the time he was twenty-seven, he decided to quit. He never was able to get a new job, so his brother provided for him for two years until he got tired of Dustin and forced him to find a job. He found it difficult to find a one and it reminded him of the times he wasn’t accepted in the colleges he applied for. He had a mental breakdown and thought his life was over.
A few weeks have passed after the incident and Austin had suggested he work at Barfield High School as a basketball coach after a friend of his who worked there said they were looking for one. Dustin found the hope he had once lost and decided to give it a shot. He was eventually hired. He moved out of the apartment and moved to Barfield so that he could be closer to the school.
While in Barfield, he bumps into Amelia Cruz, a former schoolmate of his back when they were in Atlanta who he was pretty close to. Thankfully, she was nice enough to help him find his way around the area to make sure he knew the area well enough not to get lost. They’re currently trying to get back in touch.
