Elena Boyle is inactive and can no longer roleplay.
Portrayer's note: I may sometimes have her used in random rps. Probably not. Yeah, that's not happening. |

Character(s) involved: Damian Mendez, Marcus Watson, and Jerome Boyle Elena Boyle was born as Elena Mendez Dias in a small town in Puerto Rico right by the beach. Her father worked for a small fishing business, but didn't make a lot of money for his family. When Elena was eight years old, her mother left the country to work the United States as a maid. She would send money back home in hopes of one day bringing her family to the country with her. Living without her mother and having two older brothers and a younger sister, Elena wasn't certain what to do. Her grandmother would stay home with the kids and take care of them, but as they all grew older, it was harder for her to take care of each one. When Elena was thirteen, she found out that her two older brothers had started working in the drug business in town. She tried to tell them it was a terrible idea, but they would always ignore her. They told her it was for the good of the family. The money their father made with fishing was next to nothing and their mother's maid money was also basically nothing. The family some days couldn't even afford to have food on the table. It was for the family that they were doing this. Although she didn't want to, Elena understood and agreed that for now, it was for the best. By the time Elena was sixteen, her mother had been fired as a maid because the wife in the family she worked for claimed that Elena's mom was trying to sleep with her husband. With less and less money, Elena decided to take matters into her own hands. She asked her brothers if she could join the drug business with them, but they told her no because she was a woman. Elena grumbled, but finally convinced them to let her work alongside them. At the age of eighteen, Elena had been working as a drug dealer for two years and had helped her family so much. One day when she was walking around town with her two brothers and younger sister, there was a drive-by shooting. Two people who Elena barely knew were murdered right in front of her, along with her two older brothers. Her younger sister had been shot in the leg, but was still breathing. Elena had been shot in the shoulder. She hadn't even realized that she had been shot because she was in shock as she watched her own two brothers die right in front of her eyes. After being checked into the hospital to heal, Elena could only remember her brothers. She told her sister that she was leaving Puerto Rico and never coming back. Her sister said she would go with her. Elena and her sister, Marina, left Puerto Rico as soon as they could. They went to the United States and began illegally living there. The two women lived in Florida for a while until Elena met an older man named Shiloh Gorman. He had been visiting Florida to see his family, but when he met Elena, he fell instantly for her. The two talked all the time as he stayed there for almost an entire month. When it was time for him to go back home, he asked Elena if she wanted to move with him to New Mexico. She said she would, so long as her sister Marina could come too. He said that they definitely could. After he and Elena had been dating for a year, Shiloh proposed to her. At first, Elena was going to say no, but then she decided it was for the best. She didn't have a job or money, so she needed somewhere to stay. The two soon got married and Marina also moved out after she found a job elsewhere in a different city. Before long, Elena and Shiloh began arguing almost all of the time. Nothing seemed to be going right between the two. Elena always planned to leave him, but she had no money to do so. She also didn't want to bother her sister, who was currently engaged. Elena stuck with Shiloh as much as she didn't want to. A few weeks after her twenty-second birthday, Elena discovered she was pregnant. Deciding that she didn't want her future child to grow up with Shiloh as a father, she left him. She packed her few belongings, took some money that he kept hidden in the house, filed for a divorce, and changed her name back to Elena Mendez Dias. With the little money she had, she left New Mexico completely and moved to a little town called Miduna Beach. She lived in a shitty, rundown apartment, but it was the most she could afford. Soon enough, Elena got a job at a little Mexican restaurant as a waitress. She also became friends with another waitress and the two decided to move in together. Elena worked at the restaurant up until it was time to give birth. One morning when she was in her uniform and about to leave the apartment to go to work, her water broke and her roommate helped her to the hospital. She then gave birth to her son, Damian. She absolutely adored him and cared for him more than anything else in the world. She was glad that he wouldn't have to grow up with Shiloh as a father. After a few years, Elena lost her job at the restaurant. A big group she had been waiting on dined and dashed on her and her boss was so pissed at her that he fired her. She also began arguing with her roommate and only friend in town. Elena decided to move out and she and her son moved into a little one bedroom apartment. She hated that her son had to live in a place such as that, but it was their only choice. Soon enough, Elena had two different jobs and could rarely be at home to be with Damian. She told him to always stay in the apartment when she wasn't home, and he luckily always listened to her. She would always come home to see him sitting at the TV or doing his homework. After a few years, Elena met a man named Lucas Boyle. They met when she was waiting on him at a restaurant. She had accidentally knocked over his drink and it spilled on him. She had felt terrible and that she was going to be yelled at and fired again, but he was very calm about it. He also left her a huge tip. A few days later, he came back and requested her as a waitress. She apologized over and over again, but he kept saying it was fine. After a few more times of him visiting her, the two began to flirt around when she waited on him. After a few weeks, he asked her on a proper date somewhere besides the same old restaurant. She said yes and before long, the two were officially dating. After one year, Lucas proposed to her. She said yes and she and Damian moved in with him. After she moved in, Elena decided to try and officially become a citizen. She never mentioned it to Lucas and even her own son didn't know she was illegally living in the country. Soon enough, Elena was married and she changed her name to Elena Boyle. She was very happy about her new family and treated Jerome as if he were her own son, but he was quick to be hateful and rude to her. She soon realized that he absolutely hated her, no matter how kind she was to him. She also noticed that Damian hated him too and the two boys would constantly argue with one another. Two years after her marriage, Elena announced that she was pregnant. Lucas was thrilled with the news. Damian was also very happy for his mother and would always make sure that she was doing fine. Jerome, however, seemed unhappy about the whole ordeal. After the nine months, Elena gave birth to a girl who she named Allison, but nicknamed Ally. She absolutely loved her daughter and she knew that Damian did too, because he was always trying to take care of Ally and would even play with her. Ally also seemed to grow on Jerome, which surprised Elena. However, the happiness in Elena's life didn't last long once Damian and Jerome started to grow older. Damian would come home drunk almost all the time. Elena would try to talk to him about it, but he would always ignore her. He was also arguing with Jerome more and more. One day, Elena came home from a little shopping day when she found Damian and Jerome in an actual fist fight. She screamed at first, uncertain of what to do. She yelled at them both to stop, and luckily Damian pulled away, listening to her as he almost always did. Jerome stormed away as Elena tried to talk to him, so she tried to get Damian to explain. As he did, Lucas came home angry. Jerome had texted him and Lucas was blaming Damian for all of it. Elena tried to stand up for Damian, but Lucas was having none of it. Before long, Damian became worse and worse. Elena was always trying to help him, but nothing she said or did seemed to help. She could tell he was still drunk most of the time and was becoming more and more violent. Lucas told her that he was going to kick Damian out of the house because he was a danger to them all. Elena tried to say that he just needed help and she could help him, but Lucas ignored her. He mentioned that Damian could hurt her or Ally. Elena said he would never do such a thing. Still, Lucas decided it was best to get rid of Damian. Even though Elena tried to stop him, Lucas kicked Damian out. Elena was angry about it and told him that if he wanted to get rid of Damian, he might as well get rid of Jerome because he was possibly worse than Damian. Elena tried to get in contact with Damian all the time, but he would always ignore her and never answer her messages. Still, Elena never stopped trying to talk to him. On Damian's nineteenth birthday, he finally answered and talked to her for almost half an hour. He seemed glad to talk to her and Elena was excited to hear his voice again. Currently, Elena is still living with Lucas. The two are happy together, although they argue about Damian almost once a month. Elena still says they need to find him and help him, while Lucas says they don't need to because if Damian wanted help, he would ask them. Elena also avoids Jerome at all costs, knowing his hatred for her and how terribly he treats her. She also absolutely loves her daughter, Ally, and is glad to have her in her life. In June of 2015, Elena actually received a phonecall from Damian. She glad to talk to him, but he hung up after she had asked how he was. She was disappointed, but he soon called her again the next week. Before long, they were talking at least once a week. Damian would always ask about Ally. At one point, Elena mentioned that Damian could come over and see Ally for himself. He hung up as soon as she finished telling him that. |
