Appearance |
---|
Ellis has very pale skin, which often contrasts his raven blue hair, and his fringe is often swept to the side. The most noticeable part of his face are his striking blue eyes, which are quite easy to get lost into. He has a thin figure compared to most guys. Ellis never really tried to figure out which shirt went with which pair of jeans, since his jeans all looked this same. He would usually just throw on the first shirt he sees in his closet and doesn't really put much effort into his outfits, but does try to look decent. The only time he would ever try to look nice and put some effort into what he was wearing is when he had guests over or had to go to an event. |
Personality |
---|
When you first meet Ellis, he may look like the typical nice guy. His innocence attracts many but not a lot of people know what he's really like. Sure, he's caring and understanding, but they think he's soft and weak, when in reality, he's a lot more clever and cunning than he seems. He's pretty sarcastic too. He finds it easy to slip out of awkward and terrible situations, as he always knows what to say. Ellis isn't actually the most confident person, so he was never really that type of person who brags about their life. He actually tries to be tougher than he seems, even though he fails half of the time. |
History |
---|
Ellis was born to a rather rich family, however their wealth didn't last very long, as the company they owned went bankrupt due to various reasons. He and his parents moved into an apartment after losing their house, and his parents had to work three different jobs in order to pay for rent. Their jobs, however, payed very, so they were unable to pay the rent and were kicked out. Fortunately, a middle-aged neighbor of theirs, Lisa, took pity on them and took all three of them in. Because Lisa owned a bakery, Ellis was always surrounded with the smell of cakes and cookies. He would always help around the bakery, greeting customers when they enter, and sometimes he would even help Lisa when baking. This sparked his interest in baking. He would even bring that interest to preschool, giving cookies to his classmates, which they loved. However, on the day before his seventh birthday, Ellis' mother was involved in a bus accident. This left his entire family devastated, and his father spiraled into a pit of depression, until he passed away five months later, due to suicide. He couldn't believe the fact that in a span of just six months, both his parents were dead. He then made a promise to himself that he wouldn't let what happened to his father happen to him. Ellis went on with his life, trying to forget what had just happened. He then met Valentine in fourth grade, after defending him from a group of bullies who were beating him up and picking on him. They became friends after that, becoming closer and closer each day. And then came high school. He was doing okay in high school. His grades were average, he had a lot of friends, and joined a few clubs. He had a few girlfriends here and there, but something about it didn't feel right. He found himself developing feelings for Valentine. Ellis was unsure of his feelings. He thought Valentine would find it weird if he ever found out, but things changed when Valentine confessed about his feelings to him. They started dating after his junior year, however, they kept it a secret from Valentine's homophobic father. He started university after graduating. He was in the middle of his second year, when he heard the news about Lisa dying of a stroke. He was devastated at that point, and he didn't know what to do. He, however kept his word and stayed strong, and he didn't end up like his father. He dropped out of university to take over the bakery, still thinking it was the greatest decision he's ever made. |

About |
---|
Although it was nearly a decade after the death of his parents, he still found it slightly difficult to cope with, despite claiming he has moved on. He's tried many ways to distract him from thinking of his parents, which has led him to a numerous amount of flings and relationships that barely lasted a year. This habit made him question his sexuality as he's never been attracted to any of the girls he's dated, but he pushed that though away as he thought it was ridiculous. Although he found this obsession to be quite unhealthy, this didn't seem to interfere with his academics and his work at the bakery. His grades were decent and he didn't have any difficulty in any of his subjects, not even in calculus, which happened to be his weakest subject. He didn't try to over-analyze any of this and simply thought he was improving. This boosted his confidence and was much better in school and at work than before. Towards the end of the school year, he began to question his sexuality again. He was confused and he often wondered why he didn't feel any attraction towards girls. He subconsciously tried to get closer to his best friend, Valentine despite already being close and he was way more affected than he was supposed to when Valentine had suddenly become distant. He soon realized that he had feelings for his best friend but has denied and repressed those feelings to keep their friendship together. |
