Lana is a generally quirky girl. She's loud and energetic and tends to be very talkative. She's usually highly suggestive when she talks, much to her friends' dismay. Sometimes, she's a little too positive, for example, when her mother died or when her dad left, she kept saying they're probably happier where they are. She's also a creative and intelligent girl. She's a strong girl unless you bring up her late grandmother, Lisa, because it's a touchy subject. Other than that little fact she's a really happy person no matter what happened in her past.
Lana was born on the 5th of January 1995 to a wealthy family in New Orleans. She never got the chance to experience how that felt to live there because they moved to Lebeaux and she studied there until she finished elementary school.
A few weeks into summer her parents fought. They officially ended it a month later. Lana had no idea about what was happening because her parents made her stay with her grandmother, Lisa, the whole time they fought. Smart move.
Her parents decided to let her stay with Lisa at Blackwood Mountain since they thought it was best for her. Her father left them two weeks after. Her mother started to feel really stressed and depressed at work and ended up killing herself.
She was barely affected by her mother's death because she was a positive person and she thought her mother was in a better place, free from her suffering. She wasn't affected by her father leaving either, if he was happier without them, she thought it was for the best.
Lisa became her gaurdian. She lived with her and Ellis Carson and the three of them were basically pieces of broken families that fit together to make one whole family.
Although she stayed strong during her mom's death, she broke down when she was supposed to speak at her grandmother's funeral. Lisa died due to a stroke and it hurt both her and Ellis. She moved out because she ffelt that she needed some space from her grandmother's old house.
She continued to study even though she has the urge to drop out and help out in her grandmother's bakery, but she decided to put her studies first because she thinks that's what Lisa would have wanted her to do.
Maddie Foster - Lana was never close to her mom, or any of her parents for that matter. Maddie let her daughter stay with her mom, Lisa, because of all the problems she started to face. She died because she killed herself due to stress and abuse at her work.
Dante Foster - Lana's dad was almost a mystery to her. They barely talked when she was younger and her father leaving never really affected her. No one knew why he left, he just did.
Lisa Rowell - Lisa was Lana's grandmother, and the closes person she had to a mother. They were extremely close. She always went to her bakery and she helped frequently.
Ellis Carson - Lana and Ellis were both under the care of Lisa until she died. The two of them have a sibling-like bond and they've been friends since Lisa introduced them.
She's usually really positive unless you bring up her late grandmother.
