Hey everybody, this is just a brief (sorta) announcement from the admin team to let you know that we're gonna be changing a few things up in the coming months. Some of the stuff we're going to be changing includes:
- Completely new Get Started Guide: The GSG will be updated for improved readability, easiness to follow, and clarity. The new guide will be split into three sections, beginner, advanced and user rights. Beginner will explain how to do simple stuff like creating a character, word bubble and roleplaying. Advanced will explain how temporary characters, connection requests, adoptions and AU roleplaying work. User rights will explain the way that admin procedures work and the things you need to know if you are offered an admin position.
- Lumblr Network update: The Lumblr profiles will be updated to the newer template as the default and the friend requests section will be removed. The Lumblr Network User Manual will also be updated.
- Admin team scouting: The admins will be monitoring behaviour to look for possible additions to the administration team and discussing suitability of possible candidates.
- User rights shuffle: We'll run an anonymous survey where people can make suggestions for changes to the administration team (promotions and demotions).
- Changes to character policies: Changes will be made to the policies and limits which govern temporary characters. This will be done via a community discussion.
- 2013 and 2014 timelines: have been worked on, but will hopefully be finished sometime soon. Please, for the love of God, add your own threads to timeline 2015 so we never have to do this mass catch up again.
