So I know some of y'all don't live in the US and since this rp is kind of based on the country, I found a guide to help you out with the American school system. The only thing is that in the guide it says high school is only four grade levels (which it is) but here on this rp we have it for 7th-12th grades, which would never happen in the US. Anyway, this should also help you but it left out some things that I'm going to talk about real quick. There's also this one on the American College system, which also isn't the best. There really isn't anything to help out with American schools tbh.
Now, neither guide mentioned SATs/ACTs, which are pain and torture and I hate them. Basically, they're the tests students take to get into univerrsity. Usually they're not required for community colleges, so then students just don't deal with it. Usually students take the tests during the 11th grade year or the fall of the 12th grade year. Honestly, these things are terrible and evil and drain your entire soul. I remember after I took the ACT I went home and went to sleep for four hours because I couldn't do anything because I had no brain. The SAT was worse because I thought it was much harder and I did the exact same thing when I got home. Anyyway, I just wanted to mention that those are the tests to determine if a student gets into college or not. Now, they're not like as long asyou take the test you get into college. The process is still far more complicated than that.
Really I just wanted to mention that in case anyone was planning on having their character go into college and they mentioned some type of tests to get there. That way this could possibly help them know what to call the test. Yup. Buh-bye.
