Trevor is rather short compared to his father, so he often blames his mother for her family's genes. Everyone on her side of the family tends to be rather short. He has dark brunet hair with little tiny curls. He usually shaves the hair off the sides of his head, and will sometimes have patterns. Like his father, Trevor has pierced ears and rarely doesn't wear earrings. He personally likes the way they look. Trevor also often works out and has a very muscular build. He tries to work out a few times a week.
For his fashion taste, Trevor is very simple and doesn't really care much about his clothing choices. He tends to wear muscle shirts or plain t-shirts. He also usually wears jeans or shirts. Whenever he is told he needs to dress nicely, he'll wear simple black pants with a plain white v-neck shirt.
Trevor is a very hardworking individual. He is also very determined in what he does. He takes pride in his work, even if it is simple tasks. Occasionally he gets lost in his work, but isn't really a workaholic. If he could, he would gladly not work ever again, but that's not going to happen. He also prefers to work on a single thing at the moemtn and not much else. He's also not a very organized individual and has a mess all over the place. Because of this, he may occasionally forget to pay bills and has to pay them late. He's also very tardy and has to try hard to make sure he makes it to places on time. He's been late to work a few times, but not enough to get himself fired.
Trevor is very standoffish and has a hard time making friends. He's always kind of grumpy and annoyed with the world, so people have trouble talking to him - just as he has trouble talking to them. Because of this, he has very few friends in his life. Those that he does have, he has problems keeping them around since he's very good at pushing them away. He's also very irrational with his thoughts. He easily holds grudges and never lets them go. If someone makes him mad or hurts him, chances are he's still going to hate them fifty years later. However, he's very honest to people. He almost never lies because he doesn't see the point in it. He tells the truth no matter how harsh it may be.
Trevor Banks was born to Will and Marie Banks. The two had been married for a few years and their relationship had been rough and rocky. They thought that having a child together would bring their relationship back to what it used to be. When Marie got pregnant, the two were close to each other again and all seemed to be going well. A few months later, they were back to arguing and fighting again. Marie would often yell at Will for staying out late and not being home much. After Trevor was born, the two were good again. They were happy to have an adorable, young son that they both adored. Their relationship seemed to be saved by the little baby boy - or so it seemed for the first two months. After the long, sleepless nights, Will began to stay away from home more and more often. When Trevor was only a year old, Marie caught Will with another woman. She immediately grew angry that the reason he had never been home to help her take care of their child was because he was busy sleeping with whatever woman he could get. The two were divorced with no time and Marie had full custody of Trevor. Will still had to pay for childcare though.
Throughout his childhood, Trevor stayed mainly with his mother in Barfield. He visited his father on certain occasions, but not too often. Very soon after the divorce, Will had another son with another woman. He then married her. He absolutely hated this Vanessa woman who was with his father. Every little thing she did would get on his last nerve. Whenever Trevor would go to visit Will, Vanessa would try to be nice and kind to him. Trevor could never like her though because he saw her as the woman who ruined his family. Vanessa also had her own daughter who ended up being Trevor's step-sister, Kylie Butler. He never liked Kylie either and would always seem angry and annoyed whenever the two would try to talk to him. Vanessa never did give up on trying to get Trevor to like her though.
Soon enough, Trevor ended up with three more half siblings after his father and Vanessa had twins and then a younger daughter. He only ever saw his siblings when he would visit every other weekend, but sometimes it was more than enough for him. He still hated how messed up his family was and how he couldn't be normal like other people. He hated having to visit his own father because his father didn't live with him and his mother. Because of this, he held a grudge against his father. The two would often argue during Trevor's visits and Trevor was always happy to be able to leave and get away from him and his wicked step-mother and step-sister.
When Trevor was twelve, Marie began to date another man. Trevor was alright with it at first because he was already so used to the fuckery of his life. However, he soon began to despise Kevin Walsh and wanted nothing to do with him. Trevor would try to find ways to break Marie and Kevin up, but nothing ever seemed to work. When Trevor was fourteen, Marie officially married Kevin and moved in together. Trevor lived with them for a month before he decided he wanted nothing to do with Kevin. Somehow he had ended up hating Kevin more than Vanessa. Trevor convinced his mother to let him move and go live with his dad. He came up with some dumb reason about how he had never really been able to get to know his father's family and that it would be a good time to do that. His mother believed him and she and Will made plans to let Trevor move in with Will.
Trevor was never exactly the happiest person in the household. He was always arguing with his father, step-mother, and step-sister. They could never reach common ground or ever really get along. He also hated how Kylie was praised for being the star of the world and he was always seen as secondary or nothing. He tried to prove himself to be better than her, but never succeeded much. He was never really good in most of his classes, except math. He always did excellently in math classes and the teachers often praised him. When he was taking Algebra II, his math teacher inspired him to want to one day be a teacher just as her. However, even though he was good at math, he wasn't good at anything else so he often felt incompetent when compared to Kylie. When Trevor was sixteen, he got a job as a waiter at The Tiki Grill. He absolutely hated his job, but kept with it to save money. As soon as Trevor turned eighteen, he moved out of the house even though he was still in school. He moved into a cheap, small apartment in Blackwood Mountain and got a new job as a cook at Sampson's Steakhouse. After graduating high school, he made plans to attend Barfield Community College, but couldn't afford the tuition. His parents both offered to pay for it, but he was too hardheaded and stubborn to take their money. Trevor decided he would save up on his own and prove to them that he could make it.
In November 2014, Trevor found an ad for someone looking for a roommate for their apartment in Blackwood Mountain. He checked it all out and saw it was be cheaper for him to share an apartment. He met with the guy, Dustin Sayer, a few times and moved in within a few weeks. The two became good friends soon enough. As they continued to get closer, their friendship became a bit different than just two regular guys being good ole buddies. One night Dustin brought home alcohol from the drugstore he worked at and the two ended up really drunk. Neither remember what all took place that night, but they do recall waking up in the same bed together and being barely dressed. They never talk about that night and at one point Trevor almost moved out to find somewhere else to live. They both ignore any feelings or sexual tension they have because that would just make things awkward.
Marie Walsh is Trevor's mother. He always felt closer to her than his father. He lived with her for most of her life and she was the most important person in his world. He also favored her over his father because his father was the one who ruined the marriage by cheating. Trevor moved out from his mom when he was fourteen because of her new husband, but he still loved visiting her whenever he could - so long as Kevin wasn't around. Marie is still very important to Trevor and he still visits and calls her whenever he gets the chance.
